详细介绍Job Purpose
Performs intermediate-level testing.  Responsible for writing and executing test plans and cases, designing and developing test tools, problem isolation and analysis, analyzing, prioritizing, and reporting code bugs, white box and black box testing, and working on an automation infrastructure and scripts by creating your own tools or using off the shelf tools such as RFT, Rational Robot, etc.
The Software Test Engineer will work closely with Test Lead and Localization team to ensure the feature/product is compliant to design specifications, test results generation/compilation and reporting, interfacing with a number of other product teams across the company, etc
Job related competencies/requirements
Bachelor Degree  in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of  3 years experience in RA technical support or Applications Engineering work
Experience with Rockwell Automation products or other industy automation software products is preferred.
VBA programming or at least one programming language is expected.
Verbal and Written fluency in English is required
Ability to work both independently and collectively in a team environment
Excellent technical and communication skills, works well with other teams, passionate about learning new skills and driving for results, strong problem solving skills and customer focus
Experience testing highly integrated software products.
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting Microsoft network protocols
Proficiency in Windows operating systems (2000, XP, 2003 Server and Vista) required.
Experience with Microsoft Office products required.
