Position Purpose: 
To successfully manage assigned P3 projects in accordance with company procedures and in support of the overall objectives of Asia Pacific Project Operations including maintenance of backlog, continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, and working capital and safety performance. Has prime responsibility for the successful completion of assigned projects. 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

· Establish professional relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Manage the interest of all stakeholders (customer, Honeywell, suppliers, etc) in the project.
· Ensure that the baseline project documents are produced, maintained, made available to all parties concerned and effectively used (managing the project).
· Ensure that the project is correctly planned and managed during execution. 
· Monitor and Control the financial status of the project (EAC, Billings, cost budgets, milestone payments, rebates, warranty).
· Accurately report the status (resources, technical issues, customer satisfaction) of assigned projects on all key metrics.
· Manage the process of scope definition and change control, including estimating and negotiations of contract / scope variations (change orders).
· Anticipate timely on important potential risks (technical or other). 
· Establish and execute detailed plans to ensure that risks are mitigated and opportunities are realised.
· Create the conditions to enable effectively working teams. (A balanced team)
· Apply applicable Honeywell QA and project management procedures / methods like e.g. GPM.
· Prepare sub-contract strategy, selectsub-contractors, and negotiate contracts and control.
· Work with After Market Service organisation to ensure that projects are properly closed out.
· Report relevant new business opportunities to accountmanager.
· Work with sales (on request) to ensure that project proposals are supported with proposal deliverables e.g. risk/opportunity, estimate, project plan, planning.
· Facilitate the personal development of assigned team members.
· Actively contribute to continuous improvement in business processes and practices.
· Adhere to the highest standards of business ethics and corporate governance in line with the Honeywell code of conduct. 

Qualifications
 
Education · Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent
· PMP certification is preferred   
Experience · More than 5 years experience in professional project management and proven experience in delivery of complex technology based projects to the P3/CWS industries.
· Leadership experience in a professional engineering environment.
· Experience in management of projects in EPCs environment.
· QCS (Quality Control System) Project Management experience is preferred.   
Professional Skills / Knowledge · Be able to clearly identify, define, communicate, estimate and manage the project scope of complex multi-discipline engineering, procurement and construction projects.
· Be able to develop robust change management process, keeping customer informed of changes in a timely manner, using the entire project team to identify change, and leveraging changes to improve project margin (consistent with the contract).
· Be able to identify, mitigate and manage risks on complex MAC (Main Automation Contractor) projects.
· Understanding of P3/CWS business, technology and external environment.
· Domain knowledge in one Pulp, Paper &CWS).
· Working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
· Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated business sense.
· Must have written and oral communication skills at all levels of the organization.
